Creative Movement
(Ages 2.5-3.5)
The class will introduce Body Movement and Ballet skills to first year students.  A routine is followed to encourage learning in the dance class environment. Creative Movement matters because it helps young students to focus the mind, creating community, assisting with children’s cognitive and motor skill development, impulse control, body awareness, increasing interpersonal skills, and instilling class rules and etiquette. Children will learn basic ballet movement and terminology through fun songs and the use of props. Activities constantly change to hold onto those short attention spans! Dance will allow your child to build motor skills, grace, and confidence. Students should wear any color tights & leotard, skirts/tight shorts are permitted. Ballet shoes required.
