Gretchen (Kubiak) Long grew up dancing since she was 3 in her mother’s studio in downtown Washington known as “Ursula’s School of Dance”. Gretchen has been an educator in the field of dance for over 20 years in Washington, Missouri. She specializes in teaching dance technique to children and adults of all ages and levels. Dance is her creative outlet that she passionately passes on to her students and her own children. She has her national teacher certification through Dance Educators of America. She has attended dance conventions to expose herself and her students to national choreographers, diverse teaching styles and to continue her dance education. She has studied tap, ballet, pointe, modern, jazz, tumbling and hip hop. She is excited to continue to the family tradition and pass her knowledge on to the next generation of passionate dancers.

“It has been a blessing to find Washington Community Art Studio for me. I love that its a place where all art forms are appreciated for the fun, creative outlet it can be. I love teaching recreational dance that lifts a student up.”
